So, we went to the doctors clinic on Friday and they diagnosed Killie with mild cerebral palsy. It is in her legs ankles and feet. We will start braces soon to help her stand flat footed and learn how to walk properly. She will more than likely have to have surgery to lengthen her Achilles tendon in a few years. They try not to do it until she is closer till 8. We are very lucky that its not in her hips!! :) We are trying to get into Shriner's in Houston but we will know later on. We are so lucky that its mild since she had a grade 4 brain bleed! Shes a miracle what can i say!!
They did say that because of how smart she is she will probably overcome it or figure out a way to make it work for her. The think that we should have her head shape rechecked when shes 3 and fix that problem also. As for her not sitting yet they think its just that she is so weak in her trunk that she will learn how to soon.
