Houston Trip

So here is the rundown of our Houston trip. We took off weds and landed that afternoon. Our flight however was AWFUL, take off was rough and bumpy with turbulence. Landing OMH! The pilot was coming in way to fast and way to step. We landed on ONE wheel then started to tip then he straitened the plane out and we finally came to a stop. My mom was holding Killie and i was hold on to both of them! It was awful and scary! The stewards said it must have been the wind, the passenger in front of us was like my butt that was wind it was the pilot not landing right! Now the whole time this was happening all i could think was Killie should be in a car seat!! (haha Laura you know what I'm talking about!) So after that we went to the hotel. That night we hung out around medical center and had chipoltes! YUMMY! Then passed out watching Olympics.
The next day we got up and went to the PT appt at 8:30! The Dr was very impressed of how good Killie was doing despite her rough start. We then had lunch and hung out. Later that day we went back up there for a developmental appt and she too was impressed on how good Killie was doing. Her main concerns are speech and gross motors. The gross motor should be taken care of when she gets her AFOs on in Sept. Her speech we are going to start more intense therapy for! So her Dr's were very pleased!
As for my previous post about the CT scan. We still aren't sure of what is going to happen. It happened so fast and hit me in the face like a brick! So I'll keep you posted but hopefully all is well and its just another false alarm. I'm thinking that by Tuesday i should know when we will be seen by the neurosurgeon!
Reid had his 3 year well check and is healthy happy and hyper. He weighed 31lbs and is 36 inches tall (Killie is only 10 inches shorter) The Dr. said hes in the 25th percentile for both. They asked if we feed him because hes so small but we promised them we did and that he ate healthy and didn't get juice or milk just water. They looked at Blake a little odd but we then explained that he dosen't do good with milk and that we don't buy juice. So hes good and healthy!
